Overview

The Mentor programme aims to provide each delegate with a unique opportunity to learn how to develop their own integrated FileMaker Pro solutions in a hands-on format. The course, which is based on the client's specific project, provides an intimate working knowledge of the solution and the technical skills necessary for maintenance and upgrade.

Programme prerequisites:

Advanced FileMaker users with a specific project in mind.

Course structure

As the Mentor programme is project-related, the duration of the training is usually based on the estimated number of days required to either develop a solution or provide the necessary skills to complete it.

Many FileMaker advanced users often have to split their time between their normal job and the time needed for maintaining and growing their FileMaker Pro solution. With this in mind, we have made the mentor programme flexible enough to fit around your needs. Subject to schedule availability and location, your programme can be split into smaller sections, with a recommended minimum of 2 days per session.

The Mentor training programme offers clients with a unique opportunity to have both a complex solution developed, whilst enhancing the skills necessary for in-house maintenance and upgrade. This method of training/solution development avoids many of the common pitfalls and high on-going costs normally associated with software development projects.
